Original oil on canvas framed in "floating" whitewashed wooden frame to expose gallery wrap. Canvas size is 20"H x 40"W. My frames add 3" to the height/width dimensions of the canvas size. Framed dimensions are 23" H x 43" W. Dimensions noted below are for the shipping crate if shipping via FedEx. I've been participating in juried fine art festivals for the last few years. Starting in Texas, I've gradually ventured as far as St. Petersburg, FL, Bluffton, SC and Rockport, TX to share my love for the Coastal South. The Mainsail Art Festival in St. Petersburg is in beautiful Vinoy Park offering a gorgeous view of Tampa Bay from my artist tent.

I paint in studio with oils on canvas from photographs I take as I travel the coastal South. I have such wonderful memories of growing up at the beach on the Bolivar Peninsula that I am particularly drawn to paint coastal birds, boats and landscapes near the shore. I was born and raised in Beaumont, TX and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from our hometown university, Lamar University. After a career in advertising, I returned to my first love - painting.

I am a studio artist who paints with oils. I still build and stretch my own canvases. I accept commissions and also offer giclée reproductions of my original paintings on canvas and archival watercolor paper.
