Bass Wire Sculpture

This bass wire sculpture is made from 16 gauge steel wire and attached to a unique driftwood base. Each piece is handmade so the dimensions will vary. Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied. I avoid the use of paints and solvents and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials. It is my hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well. Best wishes- Bud Bullivant
