Description
This cream and copper sunflower started out as an experiement in painting with resin over textured wallpaper. It began with adding a layer of turquoise and copper over the wallpaper, then painting the sunflower. It has black "gallery wrap" sides. Although it may not be as apparent in the photo, I used iridescent coppers in the petals which give it a wonderful sparkle. This piece can stand on a table or shelf…no need to hang (but it can, if you want).
