BAD HAIR DAY. A super FUN piece. Wood frame was found at a thrift store. A perfect gift for someone who cuts hair! Yes, everyone has a bad hair day once in a while! This TiKi stature was a souvenir from Hawaii.
Artist JoAnne Hunot has been designing and selling assemblage boxes created from vintage items for over 20 years. The last photo above shows her studio full of "stuff" to be made into art. This is up-cycling at its best! Since all figurines, frames and boxes are re-purposed from thrift stores, there might be small blemishes.
I also have an etsy store.

I have been collecting interesting artifacts since childhood. I LOVE old stuff! I visit flea markets and thrift stores looking for vintage items for my up-cycled art work. All of the frames, boxes, and drawers I use are re-purposed. I have been selling my work at California art shows for over 20 years.
