Part of my "Journey's End" collection, a series about finally being able to rest and recuperate after a long journey to get to a beautiful destination.
Tranquil blues in the water and sky here bring me a sense of calm and stillness. This was inspired by being on the lake just after the sunset fades and the world is awash in azure light.

I am an abstract impressionistic painter, living in Toronto with my husband and our mini goldendoodle, Josie.
Originally born in Alberta, I find strength and stillness in forests, fields, and by water.
Painting is a restorative process for me, it gives me time to focus on how beautiful and magical our world can be.
My works include both landscapes and portraits, although the portraits often include elements of nature such as branches or mountains.
My overarching goal would be that my collectors feel the same sense of magic and connection I feel to the world through painting.
