Very unique art piece. Comes with a nice metal stand to showcase this art piece. Made with a technique called cracking showing veins and color. Also, a wafer has been fused to the piece for a unique look. Colors: Orange, red, with black frit (dots) and spring green. It has been handmade by me. The piece is fired in my kiln to a matte finish. To finish the process in the kiln, the glass is cooled very slowly—annealing phase. This process makes the glass stronger. NOTE: We do not recommend washing this piece in the dishwasher—due to cold/heat variations of the dishwasher. Please hand wash.

My sister, Sue Froebel, and I have been fusing for about 10 years. However, we don't fuse full time. We usually do about 4 Art Shows a year. We are learning new fusing techniques all of the time. We are both a BOI's--born on the island-Galveston.
