Lee Suzanne Jordan is an artist based in the Atlanta, Georgia area between the mountains and the city. She works in a loose and expressive style using pastels, charcoal, acrylics, and oils. Laying down marks and layers of color and textures in unexpected ways puts the focus on the personality and energy of her subjects. Color, form, and line tell a story about the subject that pushes beyond traditional portraits or representational paintings. Inspirations include nature and concepts of time, change and growth. She gives back to her local community as a founding member of the Arts Alliance of Georgia. Her work is in private collections all over the world.
