Aloe plicatilis

The Kumara plicatilis, also known as Aloe plicatilis, serves as an attractive and unique accent plant for any sunny garden. It is a low maintenance plant, suitable for well-drained soil and full sun. As a winter grower, it may require extra attention, as it is somewhat prone to rotting. Growing at a moderate pace, it can increase its height by 10-20 cm annually when provided with optimal conditions. Once established, it will continue to thrive in its environment for years to come. However, it may be at risk of being outgrown or suffocated by faster-growing plants nearby. While it can tolerate some shade, it should be gradually exposed to full sun to avoid sun damage. In terms of watering, it can withstand weekly watering in the summer, but may not require any in the winter.
