Agave americana medio-picta 'Alba'

Agave americana var. medio-picta 'Alba' is a medium-sized century plant with a height of 3-4 feet and a width of 4-6 feet. Its striking appearance features a bold greenish cream central stripe and blue green margins, as well as recurved spines and a long terminal spine. While the plant does not bloom until it is about 10 years old and only once in its lifetime, its yellow-green flowers are a favorite among hummingbirds. This plant thrives in full sun and requires minimal irrigation. It can withstand temperatures as low as 15 degrees F.
