The bottles in the photo are for demonstration purposes and are NOT included** --- At Spring Creek Woodcrafters, we source kiln-dried slabs of wood from small sawmills that specialize in various regional woods. Each piece is unique, and we select slabs for the best color and grain figuring, and/or other interesting properties. We then use these slabs to make all of our trays and Lazy Susan turntables. WHAT TO EXPECT: Our wine and glass racks are made utilizing reclaimed staves from wine barrels. We finish them with multiple coats of polyurethane for a natural yet durable finish, creating a beautiful and functional statement piece that will withstand years of use! OUR PROCESS: Due to the nature of wood, each piece is unique! You can rest assured that this functional woodwork is completely one-of-a-kind. Most slabs include splits caused by the drying process, inclusions, voids, and/or knot holes–and each one of these presents a wonderful design opportunity! Splits may be enhanced by installing “bowties” of the same or different species of wood, adding stability and a unique design. Voids, knots and inclusions may be inlaid with stone and/or colored epoxy to give the wood more character. We only use natural materials for our stone inlays, such as Turquoise, Chrysocolla, Lapis Lazuli, Abalone, Alacran, Sodalite, and river stones. Once the project is complete and ready to ship, you will receive an invoice for the remaining cost.
