One widow claimed that she saw and heard the voice of her husband one night on the water. He was swimming and calling out her name. The closer he got to the shore, the more she knew that it was her husband. She ran into the water after him, but something grabbed him and dragged him under the water. The next day, the local fisherman found the remains of something that looked like a cross between a human and an octopus. The widow recognized that human form looked similar to her husband but wasn’t.
