Oil on Panel with a really cool custom made space age frame. The painting is wired so that when the switches are flipped LED lights come on. No cords, powered by high power lithium rechargeable battery pack. Helmet lens is removable so you can expose the astronaut behind the glass.
This painting is about the return of astronauts Jessica Meir and Christina Koch from the ISS during absolute the peak of the COVID pandemic. Seems to me, that asking them to come home at this particular time would be a bit of weighty concern. This is where the wiring of the painting comes in... flip a switch at watch the lights come on. Flip another and see a RED warning light come on. Flip the last switch and, and the robot eyes come alive!
Framed in a custom made Mid Century-esque Frame that makes this piece of art stand out amongst the crowd.
The black visor is removable to you can get a good look at the surprise on the face of our weightless hero.
