Traditional sand casting of 11th cent. Byzantine coin/medalion, Casting is in 14KY gold. The original Byzantine coins like this one, were also in gold which varied in karat the year they were produced. Handmade bezel is also 14KY gold, A 2 mm solid link rolo link chain is available for an additional $1575. Pendant is signed and dated at the location of the casting sprue on the reverse so that it cannot not mistaken for an ancient coin. Bezel is also signed and dated. A very unique sand casting and truly one of a kind.
