Michelle Mardis is a multi award winning artist who started her art show career in 1999. Along with having representation in numerous galleries Michelle also participates in a few selected juried art festivals across the United States. In addition, Michelle is always open for commissions. Michelle’s current work is described as contemporary abstract Impressionism with a nod to the past. Her own vintage family photos are often used for her subjects as well as found mid century polaroids. Michelle’s process starts with an abstract brushed acrylic painting then layers of pallet knife work. Her work lends itself from contemporary to a farmhouse setting.
