Lora Duguay’s artistic creativity has been focused on the cultural beauty of indigenous tribes, nature and iconography. Mediums include oil, acrylics, colored pencil, scratchboard, pastels and photography. Her art has been exhibited in various museums and galleries throughout the United States. Lora’s art has been published in Atelier Interactive Acrylic Catalog for Retailers, as well as USF Magazine. Lora’s art is included in televised segments EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network), 10 Connects News segment, Fox Channel News 13 “What’s Right with Tampa Bay”, several commercials, as well as a PBS Documentary. Lora creates traditional art, as well as the Art of Miniature. She is a member of the Association of Miniature Artists. Lora was a member of VSA Florida for many years, participating in their Residency Program, sharing artistic knowledge with students who have special needs. Currently, Lora is a member of Arts4All Florida. It is Lora’s desire to not only bring pleasure to the viewers eye, but to evoke emotion, memories and pleasant thoughts. “I believe that art in any form heals, mind, body and soul.”
