Glass artist, David Contreras, is a Seattle native and has been blowing glass for over 20 years. He started his glass career in 2001 at the Seattle Glassblowing Studio as a glass instructor and artist. In 2009, after teaching glass for over 8 years, he moved on to focus on his own business, DC Glass, which he launched at the famous Seattle’s Pike Place Market in 2006. He trains and works with some of the best glass artists of the Seattle area and beyond.
In 2022, David relocated to Florida to continue create sea and space inspired glass art. He is also been blessed to help honor passed loved ones with cremation glass pieces for families to cherish.
