I use imagery of nature and animals to create stories addressing societal and environmental issues. In my work, I explore how these issues intersect with the human narrative. I use bright, saturated colors made with layers of acrylic paint, pastel, collage, and ink. Using images of animals and medicinal plants, I weave a story of awakening and rebirth, reflective of my own experience as a woman and an artist in the modern world. My technique consists of many processes and layers, and I believe this helps the viewer to look closely at the work, gradually unveiling hidden nuances and details, both in technique and in the stories I create. Our world is rapidly changing, and it is only through real self- reflection, discovery and a sense of open-mindedness that we will be able to come together to save it.
