Elegant Edge is operated by Frances Murray, an award-winning fine art photographer whose work is in several major museum collections, including the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona;  Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas; Santa Barbara Museum of Art, California; Tucson Museum of Art, Tucson, Arizona; and the International Museum of Photography at George Eastman House, Rochester, New York.   Murray was also one of six American artists awarded the prestigious National Endowment for the Arts U.S./Japan Exchange Fellowship, allowing her to live and photograph in Tokyo, Japan for six months.    Noted for her ability to use natural light in elegant and sensuous ways, Frances Murray's photographs offer the viewer a surreal and haunting experience delving into the mysterious subconscious.   Murray's photography encompasses constructed still lives, botanical studies, portraits, and elegant nudes.
