Hello, my name is Shasta. I am the Artist at Shasta's Treasures. I make high quality beaded and wire wrapped jewelry using natural crystal healing gemstones, pearls, Swarovski crystal, shell, pewter and some blown glass. I also make a line of all natural, hand-ground loose incense. I know...sounds like a strange combination but I am very interested in crystal healing, aromatherapy and spirituality. My incense is designed to be a ceremonial prayer incense but it can be used by anyone at any time. I have 13 different blends available: Grounding, Focus, Fire, Transformation, New Moon, Full Moon, Protection, Purification, Meditation, Money Draw, Courage, Healing, and Happiness. I hand grind dried herbs and tree resins in a mortar and pestle and mix them with essential oils in small batches. There are no fillers or synthetic materials in my incense. Since there are specific supplies needed to burn my incense I typically offer for sale a small assortment of burners and spoons as well as the charcoal needed to burn the incense. Since those items are resale, I will understand if I am not able to sell them at your show should I be accepted since they are not handmade. I would ask though if it's alright to have one set out for display purposes only. I was getting so many kids living in dorms that can’t burn incense that I also make a line of essential oil blends that I have available in roll-on, pure, and spray style. I make 8 different blends: Protection, Purification, Healing, Happiness, Clarity, Energize, Relaxation, and Prosperity. I use only high quality essential oils from reputable sources. In 2019 I fell in love with bismuth and found an artist in Canada that makes figurines out of this amazing material. I started selling his products in my booth right away. These are on a resale basis so I understand if I’m not allowed to sell these at your event but the items are handmade.
I started making jewelry as a hobby in 2005 and after getting so many compliments on my work and requests to buy it that I began doing small shows in 2007. For several years I only did 4 or 5 shows each year as I was working full time. I designed custom grape bunch earrings for Grove Winery and Vineyards to sell in their tasting room and continue to supply them wholesale today. In 2010 I began learning how to make incense and started by selling them wholesale to a local shop called Eclectic by Nature. I also supplied them with a small assortment of jewelry that was sold in the shop. Over the next year I began incorporating the incense into my display for shows. I have a space at The Main Line Gallery in Graham, at Eclection in Kernersville, where I sell both jewelry and incense. Now I have decided to devote myself to my artistry and I’m interested in branching out and doing many more shows and growing my online following.
I would love to participate in your events and I thank you for your time. Have a bright and joyous day!
