I am a Toronto-based contemporary artist, working predominantly with markers, ink and watercolor. Though I was fond of drawing and painting at a very young age, I gave up my art dream to pursue science. A couple years ago when I was doing all the fancy scientific research in a lab, I realized that a part of my life was missing. That was when I picked up art and learnt from zero. In my work, I express my intrinsic love for architectures, cityscape and landscape around my city Toronto and the world. My recent work primally explores urban scenes using saturated and colorful spectrum, which offers an optimistic lens into the beauty of the world. Creating art has brought peace, joy and healing to my life.
