Why the name Bagel 8?
My name is George Schutte’ VIII. That’s right I am the 8th first born son in my father’s family… hence the number 8! My German origins on my father’s side had a long-standing tradition of baking. My mother, Betsy Howard Schutte’ is a 6th generation LaBelle native, and we have decided to start this baking adventure together. I have always had a passion for baking and I’m excited to share my bagels with you.
