Indy Juneteenth is Indiana's premier organization dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and promoting Black culture and history. Founded in 2016, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that creates year-round opportunities for community engagement, education, and empowerment through impactful programming and events. Our flagship event, the Indy Juneteenth Celebration, is held annually in downtown Indianapolis, attracting over 15,000 attendees. This vibrant festival features live entertainment, a cultural parade, small business vendors, food trucks, and interactive experiences like the Kids Zone and Health & Wellness Village. Indy Juneteenth also hosts initiatives such as the Miss Indy Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant, College & Career Conference, and our Indy Juneteenth Sports Division, which provide platforms for youth mentorship, economic empowerment, and creative expression. Through every program and event, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire future generations to embrace the richness of their heritage while fostering unity across communities.
