In 2004 I created the first outdoor monthly art market in Houston, and I’m still at it! I own and operate two outdoor art markets now, with one occurring on the first and the other on second Saturdays. For both markets (which are different, more on that below) I invite the exhibitors to review and judge applications for originality, presentation and appropriateness for each market. Once the curating team has finished, I take over. Please follow the instructions, the exhibitors take this seriously and so should you! Once approved, you do not need to apply again. Cheers! Located in the Historic Houston Heights. *Only artists are allowed to exhibit here. The Market at Sawyer Yards takes place on 2nd Saturdays and is an artisan craft & food market. Located just south of the Heights on “Art Alley” at the Sawyer Yards creative campus. Surrounded by 100’s of art studios, breweries & restaurants! *Artisan craft, packaged and cottage foods and some fine art are allowed to exhibit here. Food Trucks, contact Mitch directly.
