We sell advanced tickets to the balloon festival for rides, entrance, merchandise etc. as a fundraiser for other non profits in the City of Townsend and for tourism projects for the city itself.
I understand that our balloon ride had to be cancelled due to weather. But after numerous times requesting a refund, I have still not received a response. I suppose the $50 needs to be written off though I am requesting that my credit card issuer deny the payment. Crossing my fingers.
It was tragic to us. There was a handicapped person with me. Our tickets were for 6pm ride. Around 6:10pm, they announced they would probably start balloon ride from 7pm for 4pm reservations.When I asked them when we need to come back, they answered that they do not know and that we need to just wait. We had to give up because their schedules from 7pm for 4pm reservations meant 9pm for 6pm reservations to us. Where can I get refund for my reservations?
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Our balloon ride was at 4pm. We came in around 2:45ish-3pm and stood outside waiting for the hot air balloon ride for 5 hours. Every hour they kept changing the time due to the weather which was understandable, BUT the communication was very poor. I do not plan on going back.
