Brilliantly clever and inspired art with a supremely whimsical touch! I have been a life-long follower of the early Soviet 'space dog researches' that were precursors to Gagarin's first orbital manned flight back in the 50s, as well as a Siberian Husky person for over 35 years! 'Laika' the first Earth creature to pioneer orbital space flight (3 Nov 1957 on Sputnik-II) was the namesake of our very first Sibe, many years back, and so your doggie & kitty representations strike a resonant chord with my wife and I! To say they are inspired and beguiling is an understatement! I ordered a print of the space dog clad in an orange Soviet space suit and was immensely pleased with it! It goes on the wall here, above our own Laika's Earthly remnants (she's now frolicking joyfully on the far side of the Rainbow Bridge with her departed pack-mates!).
